Master deck inducted into the Queens Museum of Art

On October 23rd, The Queens Museum of Art (Q.M.A) in Flushing Meadows Corona Park held their "We'll Scare the Art out of You" event/benefit which had an amazing turnout.

The event began at 1pm with a Zoo York demo at the Maloof skate park featuring myself, Jarod Brandreth, Dave Willis, and Kevin Tierney followed by some Halloween festivities held inside of the museum.

The opening Zoo York demo got all the kids and their parents psyched to head over to the Q.M.A benefit-event which consisted of face painting, costume making, a haunted tour and parade, plus, food and drinks for the whole family.

One of the Highlights of the event was the Zoo York "skate-clinic," where we were able to work teaching the basics to some amazing kids who are aspiring to be professional skateboarders.

For me, another highlight was the honor granted by the museum of carrying my Zoo York Master Division pro model as a part of their permanent World's Fair exhibit collection.

Everyone that participated in the event had such a great time. Many thanks go out to the Q.M.A, Zoo York, and all the families that participated. Thanks for all the love and support. For more info checkout the links below.

On October 12th, The 4th annual Harold Hunter Day event took place at the Coleman skate park in downtown Manhattan. The event was organized and ran by The Harold Hunter Foundation (HHF) with support from Zoo York, DVS, CCS, Woodward, and Redbull. There were product tosses and live music plus some amazing skateboarding from some of NYC's finest. HH Day 4 brought hundreds of skaters from the local NYC skateboarding community together to honor the legendary Harold Hunter. Check out the links below for some more write ups...

A.Skate Foundation

The A.Skate Foundation is a non profit organization that has been working with autistic kids teaching them basic fundamentals of life through skateboarding. Zoo York recently teamed up with A.Skate for their NYC clinic and I'm psyched I was able to participate in such an awesome experience. I can honestly say that being able to put a smile on one of those kids faces made it all worth it. Thanks to Crys Worley and Peter Karvonen at A.skate and Ben Oleynik at Zoo York for including me. I really appreciate it. Peep the video.
